Notification By Downstream Companies

« Downstream companies using a substance of very high concern (SVHC), for which an actor up the supply chain has an authorisation, must notify its use to Echa. A webform is provided by the agency.

The notification duty for an SVHC, which comes under Article 66 of REACH, applies after an authorisation decision has been published in the EU Official Journal.

The notification must be made within three months of the first time the substance was delivered to the company. »
