ECHA- New Consultations on 3 Plant Protection Products Launched

« ECHA has launched three public consultations on the harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) proposals for :

*pinoxaden (ISO)

8-(2,6-diethyl-4-methylphenyl)-7-oxo-1,2,4,5-tetrahydro-7H-pyrazolo[1,2-d][1,4,5]oxadiazepin-9-yl 2,2-dimethylpropanoate (CAS 243973-20-8)

*phosmet (ISO)

S-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)methyl]O,O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate (CAS 732-11-6)

* quizalofop-P-tefuryl;

(+/-) tetrahydrofurfuryl (R)-2-[4-(6-chloroquinoxalin-2-yloxy)phenyloxy]propionate (CAS 200509-41-7)

Pinoxaden (ISO) is used in the EU as a herbicide on winter and spring cereals (wheat, rye, barley, triticale and durum).

Phosmet (ISO) is used in the EU as an insecticide and an acaricide.

Quizalofop-P-tefuryl is used in the EU to control a range of annual and perennial grass weeds in a range of broad-leaved field crops.

The final date for submitting comments for all three substances is 16 November 2015. »
